Kids Club After School Curriculum Grades K-5
The CATCH Kids Club K-5 (CKC) Healthy Habits & Nutrition Manual features over 270 pages with lessons organized into 7 themes related to physical activity, nutrition, and screen-time reduction. A variety of teaching strategies are used including: movement activities, individual practice, educational games, goal setting, and hands-on snack preparation.

GO and WHOA Fast Foods - Grades K-2; 3-5
Students will identify GO and WHOA fast food menu choices and apply strategies for healthier eating at fast food restaurants.
Move-Time - Grades K-2
Students review consequences of too much screen-time and do exercises that can be done instead of or while watching TV.
Fiber is Amazing!- Grades K-2
Students will identify health benefits of eating high-fiber foods and perceive that their peers eat high-fiber snack foods.
It's Good to Be in Balance - Grades 3-5
Students will relate the concept of energy balance to their food consumption and physical activity levels.
Caffeine - Grades 3-5
Students will explore negative effects of drinking caffeinated beverages.
Calcium: Healthy Choices - Grades 3-5
Students will identify healthier and less healthy types of milk, based on saturated fat and added sugars.
